The throw is made from American milled fabric.  It is a washed 73% rayon, 23% cotton, and 4% polyester fabric.  By "washing" the fabric at the mill, it is softened and preshrunk so that it has a richer feel to the hand as is actually a bit thicker than before this process. There is no comparison from this luxurious fabric to an overseas product. The trim is a 6" cotton trim and was made to match the throw fabric.  It is backed with a rayon/polyester blended fabric.  This throw drapes beautifully over the back of a sofa or your favorite chair.  It feels fabulous when "thrown" over your lap on a cold winter evening.
